Voice Chat

Voice Chat gives you live crypto voice chat rooms inside print.world. It appears in two places: on token pages, where holders of a token can talk to each other, and inside the Live Portal, where every live stream has its own voice room.

Every token page has a Voice Chat tab in its bottom panel. It joins a live audio room dedicated to that token — no stream needs to be running.

To join, you must:

  • Be logged in to print.world.
  • Be a holder of the token.

If either requirement is missing, the tab is disabled and a tooltip explains what you need.

  • Every participant appears as an avatar; your own is labeled You.
  • A green indicator shows who is speaking; a red indicator marks participants who are muted.
  • Use the mute toggle to mute or unmute your own microphone.
  • Use the volume slider to adjust how loud the room is for you.
  • Click another participant’s avatar to mute or unmute them locally — it only affects what you hear.

Each live stream has its own voice room, integrated into the Live Portal window.

  • Automatic join — opening a stream connects you to its voice room right away.
  • Voice Chat panel — use the Voice Chat toggle in the Live Portal to expand or collapse the room and see who is talking.
  • Push-to-talk — as a viewer, hold the Press to talk button to speak; release it to go silent. The host uses a standard mute toggle instead.
  • Detach — pop the voice room out into its own floating Voice Chat window, so you can keep talking while the stream window is minimized or you work in other apps.

When the stream ends, the voice room disconnects automatically.

If the same voice room is reachable from more than one open window, print.world keeps a single active connection — you will never join the same room twice or hear doubled audio.
